Josie Lostica Scholarship Winners

Updated Monday June 5, 2017 by Rod Reyes.

Congratulations to the 2017 All Saints CYO Josie Lostica Scholarship recipients; Mandy Alcayde and Estefan Agurto!

The Josie Lostica Scholarship Award is given out each year to two 8th grade CYO student athletes; one boy and one girl. The scholarship is named in honor of Josie Lostica, a dedicated CYO coach, mother of two boys, wife and friend; she passed away in September 2004.

Josie was active in the CYO program for basketball, volleyball and track. She was fully devoted to the kids and to the program, all year round. She touched many lives in the All Saints School and church community as well. She did not let her illness keep her away. Upon her passing, she was still a coach to
many.

In her honor, a scholarship is awarded in her name to a graduating 8th grade boy and 8th grade girl who participated in All Saints CYO sports for a minimum of three years up to their graduation year. The scholarship committee will award $250 to each scholarship
recipient.
