ALL SAINTS 8TH GRADE GIRLS DEFEAT ASSUMPTION FOR THIRD STRAIGHT DIOCESE CHAMPIONSHIP!!

Updated Monday June 5, 2017 by Rod Reyes.

While the Golden State Warriors were making history tonight in defeating the San Antonio Spurs for a 4-0 Western Conference Finals sweep, the All Saints 8th Grade Girls Basketball Team made some history of their own by winning their third consecutive Oakland Diocese Championship!

Coach Brianna's team led for most of the way and held off a very determined and talented Assumption squad to take home the championship banner.

This team is no stranger to winning as they have amassed a record of 41-3 over the past three seasons (6th, 7th & 8th Grade). During that span they earned not only three Diocese Titles but two Metro League regular season titles and three Metro League Playoff Championships. They are a perfect 14-0 in league playoff and Diocese games during the three year run.

This team exemplifies what All Saints CYO is all about. They win with class, lose with class, and above all they understand the importance of teamwork, unity, and being accountable to your teammates and coaches.

These young ladies set the bar for future teams both boys and girls. There is no doubt that they will all go on and succeed in their future endeavors.
