5th & 8TH GRADE GIRLS WIN METRO PLAYOFFS!

Congratulations to the 5th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball Teams as they both came out victorious in their respective playoff championship games. This is the second straight Metro Playoff Championship for Coach Phoung's 5th Grade Team, and Coach Brianna's unprecedented 3rd straight Metro Playoff Championship. The 8th Grade Girls finish their Metro League careers with an unbelievable record for the past three regular seasons and playoffs of 33-3!
Both teams now move on to the Oakland Diocese Playoffs. The 8th Grade Girls will get a bye in the first round and go directly to the second round where they will play the winner of the First Place Team from the Southern Alameda County League (SAC) and the Second Place Team from the East Bay Parochial League (EBPL). The game will be played at 1:15pm on Sunday, May 21st at Moreau Catholic High School. The 8th Grade Girls are trying to finish their All Saints careers with an unprecedented three straight Diocese Championships!
The 5th Grade will open the playoffs with a home game at All Saints on Saturday, May 20th at 4:30pm against the Second Place Team from the Northern League. The 5th Graders will have to win at least two games to get back to the Diocese Championship game.
So mark these Diocese playoff dates on your calendar and come out to support the girls as they try to bring two more Diocese Championships back to All Saints!
